Manor Road Quarter
is the latest new community of homes and businesses created in the heart of Canning Town

This website will provide you with regular updates on the construction of Manor Road Quarter, offer you information on employment and apprenticeship opportunities; and share news about our community activities.

Update: April 2024

On 18 July 2023 London Borough of Newham approved phase 2 of our plans. These changes will improve access through the proposed area, and improve access to the linear park.

You can find more information on our phase 2 amendments here.

To find out more about the Manor Road Quarter project and the social value added to the local borough, please read our 2023 Social Value Report, which can be found here.

Work commenced on Phase 1 of Manor Road Quarter in October 2021, with substantial progress now being made.

Manor Road Quarter is being constructed by English Cities Fund and our sister company, Morgan Sindall Construction.

Phase 1 will provide 355 homes, of which 50% will be affordable.

Manor Road Quarter will offer a mix of residential and commercial space, and a high-quality public realm including a 1ha linear park.

It will make a major contribution to the exciting development of Canning Town, coming not long after English Cities Fund's completion of the Rathbone Market scheme a short distance away.
